Race car drivers and fans from all over the world will converge at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway this week for the World of Outlaws Topless Showdown presented by Hungry-Man on Wednesday, and the World of Outlaws World Finals, Thursday through Saturday. The World Finals event brings together the World of Outlaws sprint cars and late models for three nights of on-track action to close out their seasons and crown their champions.
Highlights of the four nights of on-track action include:
International Crowd to Attend the World of Outlaws World Finals
Fans from as far away as Australia and New Zealand will be on hand for the World of Outlaws World Finals. Forty-seven states, seven Canadian provinces, Australia and New Zealand will be represented in the grandstands. Representatives from each state, province and country will waive their respective flags during a special ceremony as part of pre-race festivities on Saturday. Drivers entered in the events also represent a total of 25 states.
Ryan Newman and World of Outlaws Late Model Drivers Special Autograph Session
On Wednesday, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Ryan Newman and several World of Outlaws late model drivers will participate in a special autograph session for fans at 5 p.m. on the concourse at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway prior to the World of Outlaws Topless Showdown.
